Dosage and Expectations
The easiest way to supplement Permavet JOINTCARE (GLME) into your pet’s diet is to cut open the capsule and directly mix with their food. The age and weight of your pet must be considered when deciding the correct dosage of GLME.
- Dogs & Cats up to 25 kgs - 1 capsule daily
- Dogs over 25 kgs - 2 capsules daily
Size of the pet and the severity of the disease is also very important. If you do not see any improvement in the first 2-4 weeks after starting GLME, you can double the dosage and once your pet’s health starts to improve, you can decrease the dosage back to the standard mentioned above. Any benefit to the joints is gradual, progressive and normally long term. Thus it is important to stay on the program till relief is experienced.
